Introduction

The MTB12 is a high-power, high-SPL, compact, versatile speaker with a direct-radiating 12" cone driver and a 90°x 60° directional compression driver mounted on a rotatable 1.4" waveguide. The large-diameter low-frequency transducer and the "fine-tuned" low-frequency driver provide unprecedented power handling, energy, and efficiency. Through the built-in crossover, it can reproduce a fully balanced sound from 60Hz to 18kHz. The integrated pole-mount socket allows powerful low-frequency effects when combined with the MTB subwoofer system.

The MTB series is designed for professional performance, stage, and theater applications. Each speaker enclosure is optimized for variable high SPL and sound reinforcement applications. The cabinet is made of 18mm 13-ply void-free birch plywood and coated with weather-resistant and wear-resistant ProCoat™ polyurethane coating. The interior of the enclosure features an acoustically transparent coating separating the internal perforated steel grille from the external hexagonal steel powder-coated grille, providing weather resistance. It also offers M8 fittings for eye bolts for low-consumption hanging installation. When combined with the MTB CA subwoofer series, TX series amplifiers, and DX.DP series processors, it forms a complete system.
