Introduction The CA115 is a single 15" passive subwoofer. It is specially designed for main speaker applications that require high-quality sound in theaters, auditoriums, TV studio broadcasts, multi-functional halls, clubs, nightclubs, Live Houses, stadiums, bars, theme parks, and outdoor venues. It uses a 100mm voice coil and a paper cone with a rainproof coating, offering a frequency response range down to 36Hz (-10dB) to provide comprehensive protection for the speaker in harsh environments. The CA115 is a high-efficiency, high-power handling subwoofer, specifically designed for fixed installations. It features a 15" ferrite cone driver mounted in an acoustically optimized bass-reflex enclosure. To minimize turbulence and distortion at high power levels, the CA115 enclosure utilizes a symmetrical vent design. It incorporates the latest long-excursion drivers and hybrid paper composite cones. With FEA-optimized BL and displacement curves, it ensures high linearity and reduced distortion. It has a large aluminum heat sink and a 4" (100mm) aluminum voice coil, enhancing high power handling capability. The new cone combines high rigidity with the intrinsic internal damping of a paper cone speaker, producing a low-distortion sound even at high power levels. The cabinet is made of void-free Baltic birch plywood, coated with a weather- and wear-resistant ProCoat™ tight-grain hybrid finish. All rigging components are hot-cured epoxy powder coated for weather resistance. The front of the enclosure is protected by a perforated steel grille coated with hot-cured epoxy powder and lined with acoustically transparent foam.
