Overview
The DX36 is a newly designed digital audio processor from Sica. Its extremely low noise floor, high dynamic range, and powerful internal DSP allow it to cover the vast majority of use cases. Whether it's a conference room, theater, government project, high-end club, large-scale mobile performance, cinema, or broadcast television, you can use the DX series processors. Advanced circuit design and unique DSP algorithms are at the core of pure, high-quality sound.
Application Scenarios
Sica's advanced system audio processor is a high-performance and easy-to-use audio system signal processor. With 3 inputs and 6 outputs, it utilizes the latest analog-to-digital conversion and DSP technology to provide perfect audio that surpasses competitors.
Technical Features
The DX36's signal processing section uses powerful DSPs and AD/DA converters, all operating at a 96kHz sampling rate. The comprehensive processing functions provide a complete speaker crossover solution. From input gain/delay/noise gate/EQ/compression/FIR to output gain/delay/polarity/crossover/FIR/EQ/compression/limiter, the parametric equalizer (PEQ) offers up to 16 filter types to choose from. Output crossover filters include the classic Linkwitz-Riley/Bessel/Butterworth, and also offers NXF horn filters and FIR filters with slopes up to 120dB per octave. The newly added MIR linear phase crossover filter makes it easier to combine phases at the crossover point and produces lower latency. We provide all of this to achieve better sound. New DSP plugins provide 96kHz FIR filters, etc. The newly designed Hard Limiter allows for constant-rate limiting of signals exceeding the threshold at any threshold, better protecting speaker drivers. Each input and output channel provides a maximum of 1024 taps for FIR filters. You can use third-party software to create your desired FIR convolution for speaker presets, improving phase response and controlling directivity as needed. The new MIR linear phase crossover filter has the filter shapes of traditional IIR filters (Linkwitz-Riley 24+48/oct), but does not produce any phase shift. The latency produced is approximately 50% of the FIR filter.
